“Our club gives members an opportunity to advance worthy causes, serve with friends, and become leaders in the community. This club means a lot to our Lions, but it means so much more to the people we serve,” Pavarini said.
Additionally, Pavarini believes a community is only as strong as the sum of its parts. “As an insurance agent, I want to encourage residents as an insurance agent to participate in community organizations, like the Lions, because it will make their community better place to live, safer, lower insurance costs, improve quality of life.”
The information session will take place at 6:15 pm Feb. 24 at Walsh Hall in the Old St. Augustine School Building located at 1415 Howard St. in Cleveland.
The Lions’ motto is “We Serve,” and the Cleveland Host Lions Club has lived up to it. For 94 years, the clubs has committed to community and humanitarian service. For example, the club partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build a house.
